meet Filza

Hi, I’m Filza — and I’m completely smitten with photography.

I was born and partially raised in Pakistan, moved to Madison, WI at 13, and now call the Chicago suburbs home after marrying my better half. We have been raising four wildly energetic little humans who could absolutely qualify as full-time stunt performers — powered by snacks, noise, and a LOT of love.

If I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me sipping on iced coffee (yes, even in January), dreaming about clear, shallow ocean water (I can’t swim, so shallow is key 😂), or planning my next family hangout (I’m a certified reunion enthusiast). I love deep conversations, good light, real emotion, and people who aren’t afraid to laugh until they cry.

Photography started as a creative escape — a way to bottle up moments that felt too special to forget. Over time, it grew into something so much more. Today, it’s my heart, my career, and my way of connecting with others on the most meaningful days of their lives. I believe in photos that are crisp, full of feeling, and true to who you are — no trendy filters, no heavy edits, just honest beauty.
